Under the discount fare eligibility requirements, passengers requesting a discount fare by virtue of their age, disability or student status must present valid identification for proof of eligibility, along with the proper fare, upon boarding.
Proof of eligibility will include the following:
Senior (60+): Current discount photo identification issued by El Dorado Transit or another agency or valid State issued photo identification or passport to prove age
Disabled: Current discount photo identification issued by El Dorado Transit or another agency or Medicare card presented along with a valid State issued photo ID or passport
Student K-12: Current discount photo identification issued by El Dorado Transit or an eligibility card issued by another transit agency
Lifetime Pass (80+): Current discount photo identification issued by El Dorado Transit or another agency or valid State issued photo identification or passport to prove age
El Dorado Transit discount photo identification cards are available at the El Dorado Transit administration office located at 6565 Commerce Way, Diamond Springs, CA 95619 by appointment.
Step One: Fill out and return the appropriate application to the El Dorado Transit office.
