El Dorado Transit is adding operator barriers in all buses and vans as an additional protection measure that will allow for safe fare collection. Staff continues to disinfect driver and passenger areas and are requiring passengers and operators to wear face masks to comply with the State of California guidance. This requirement does not apply to children under the age of two or to individuals who are unable to wear a face covering due to a medical condition or disability. We ask passengers to practice social distancing and keep at least six feet of space between other passengers and Transit staff whenever possible, and not to travel when feeling ill or suffering from any COVID-19 related symptoms.
