EDT GO! Microtransit serves the El Dorado County public. Microtransit allows transit agencies to offer riders an on-demand flexible option that fits between fixed route and dial-a-ride services.
Initial EDT GO! service is weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Service is available in two zones: El Dorado Hills and Cameron Park/Shingle Springs, with two vehicles assigned to each zone. The fare is $3.00 per one-way trip, and the service provides curb-to-curb transportation. Riders schedule on-demand trips using the mobile app Rides on Demand, available on iPhone and Android platforms, or by calling the El Dorado Transit office at (530) 642-5383.
Cash and Scrip will be the only forms of payment at this time. Tap2Ride contactless payments will be coming soon and Connect Card will not be available on this service.
